2022 Fireworks Schedule

July 2nd

Lonaconing– Westmar Middle School 5pm-10pm. George’s Creek Fireworks are back! JTF will be there with all of our activities to entertain the kids and adults until fireworks show time. We will have plenty for everyone to play – archery tag, laser tag, light battle, soccer darts, gaga ball, Snook ball, box hockey, and more!

It will be $10 per person to play JTF activities. Everyone will need to sign a waiver and receive an arm band before play. Part of the proceeds will go back to the George’s Creek Fireworks.

July 3rd

Berkeley County 250th- Celebrate all day long with live music, and enjoy a variety of fun, family-focused activities at the Eastern West Virginia Regional Airport, including the BerkeleyWV250 Independence Celebration Car Show – Register Now! – and “Celebrity” Dunk Tank!

Live music performances are slated to include Davisson BrothersCazhmiere and more. Event schedule here! Caping off the night with a fireworks show at the Eastern West Virginia Regional Airport.

Rain date: July 10, 2022

Oakland– Broadford Lake.  The rain date is July 5. The Garrett Community Concert Band Choral Society present a musical celebration and a salute to our Armed Forces. It begins 7:30 pm at Pavilion #1. The fireworks will begin at the conclusion of the Stars and Stripes Forever which will be at approximately 9:30 pm.

 

July 4th

Deep Creek Lake– The Garrett County Chamber of Commerce presents the annual Fire on the Mountain Fireworks Display at Wisp Resort overlooking Deep Creek Lake, Maryland on July 4, 2022. The display is set to begin around 9:30 pm and is set off from the tubing hill at the Mountain Park at Wisp Resort. Free.

Prime viewing locations for the annual display include:
◦Scenic overlook along Rt. 219
◦Wisp Resort
◦Lawn at Garrett College
◦Boat on Deep Creek Lake, particularly McHenry Cove
◦Local Businesses in McHenry

Rain date: July 5th.

Cumberland– The City of Cumberland will be celebrating Independence Day with a Fireworks display at Constitution Park on Monday, July 4, 2022, commencing at approximately 9:30 p.m. Leading up to the fireworks display, Constitution Park Pool will be open on July 4 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with the park closing to the public at 4:00 p.m.  Pine Avenue will be closing to thru traffic at 4:00 also, but local traffic will still have access to their homes. In the unlikely event of rain, Tuesday, July 5 has been set as the rain date.
